Dawn Herring is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. She currently works at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, as a clinical supervisor in the Community Counseling Center.
Previously, Dawn has worked with military Family Advocacy programs, civilian law enforcement and in private practice treating trauma.
Dawn has extensive public speaking experience in the areas of work/life balance, healthy relationships, compassion fatigue and prevention of burn-out. She has traveled and spoken nationally and internationally, with multiple non-profit agencies supporting military veterans and caregivers. She has been a speaker at the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Reintegration Seminar and has a passion for supporting others in strengthening their most important relationships.
She is also credentialed as an EMDR provider, an evidence-based treatment for trauma.
